| Find a Group Thanks for your interest in small groups at Westwood. Our small groups ministry includes both our Home Group and Adult Bible Study Ministries. Members and attenders are encouraged to participate in one or the other. We consider Home Groups the ultimate destination. The primary reason for this is that the home group is very fertile ground for spiritual growth and fellowship, which are the reasons our small group ministry exists. Factors include the intimate setting, the size of the group, the amount of time the group has available, and the high-expectation commitment of Home Groups. Another advantage to being in a Home Group is that members are more able to serve on Sunday morning by moving their small group experience to Sunday night. A young church like Westwood has numerous opportunities for service, including working with preschoolers, children or students, or serving in our guest services ministry. As home groups and ABS serve the same function, participation in one of the two should fulfill your need for Bible study and fellowship with a small group. |
